Tips for collectors

Paintings could be subdivided into two basic categories: decorative and spiritual.

Decorative paintings (in different colors, shapes and subjects) will decorate your home and should match your home interior.

Spiritual paintings (context) will inspire your mind, triggering different associations and emotions.

You could have a collections of either type of paintings, but it is preferable to have paintings which contain both: decorative form and spiritual context.

You could split your home collection in two parts: a core collection that is permanently exhibited and a rotated part, in which different paintings are rotated in accordance to the season, changes in your home interior, family events or your current mood.
